Airlines drop mask mandates

Federal judge drops mask mandate, airlines respond

On Monday, a Florida federal judge voided the public transportation and airline mask mandate. This comes after the CDC's recent extension of the mandate to May 3.


Airlines that are no longer enforcing mask mandates:

  • American Airlines

  • United Airlines

  • Southwest Airlines

  • Delta Air Lines

  • Alaska Airlines

  • JetBlue Airways

  • Frontier Airlines

  • Spirit Airlines


This affects other public transportation services, such an Amtrak, who also declared that masking-up was now optional for all employees and passengers. Of course, more news may come to bear while the White House deliberates and responds.
